Provo City recognized the need to address current and projected transportation and community needs between the Provo City Municipal Airport and I-15. Provo City has published an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and Record of Decision (ROD) to examine these issues, in cooperation with the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).

The study area extends for approximately three miles between the Provo City Municipal Airport and I-15. Currently, Provo’s Center Street provides the main connection between the airport and I-15. As part of the EIS study, the project team has evaluated the need for a potential new roadway, developed and screened alternatives, and has completed the Final EIS and ROD for public review, now available under the Project Documents tab.
